Ah, summer! It has squarely landed here in Southern California and we are finally enjoying the garden vegetables in our daily cooking. We recently got back from a two week vacation on the east coast and the garden really starting hopping while we were away. So much is going on in the garden and I can’t really stay on top of it.
If you are a regular reader you may have noticed I have not been posting as often. I just can’t seem to find the time to write or keep my eyes open when I do have some time. I enjoy blogging, but don’t want it to feel like another thing I have to do, so I am going to take a little break from the weekly posts. We have a lot of projects in the planning stages for the inside of the house, and I may have to focus my attention there for a little while.
I will still be around, just probably a lot more photos and a lot fewer words. I am finding there is a lot To photograph as things take on their color. I will start off by showing you the same tomato I photographed and posted in my most recent Wordless Wednesday post.
Just a few more days until I am plucking this very first tomato from the vine!
These Indigo Rose tomatoes have a way go, and I can’t wait! These are a first for me. They are so beautiful they just have to be delicious too.
Jalapenos. I have never had peppers so early. Yay!
H has really taken a liking to helping. He loves to water.
I hope all your gardens are growing well!
I hope to see you post some more, but I completely understand. I really enjoy your blog and I wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the Liebster Award! 🙂 You can read more about it here: http://sweethomepasadena.wordpress.com/2013/07/30/you-like-me-you-really-like-me/. Have a wonderful day!
Wow! Thanks so much!
